Sculptures

Innen und Aussen
The idea of conceiving of the sculpture in its negative format was born with Head. In Laboratory I and II, and in Vessel, the concrete pedestal surrounds the object like a protective membrane, uncovering its copper treasure in a place where it looks as though the pedestal had subsequently been segregated.
Or vice versa: the sculpture seeks cover inside a monolith and fuses with the surrounding concrete so that they can no longer be told apart – pedestal and sculpture are one unit. (Mona Horncastle)
